Just one technical point, as a New Zealander - glow worms HATE noise, and will immediately switch off their lights if disturbed. This is why visitors to the famous Waitomo caves are told that they must stay silent.

I have read a handful of Mermaid stories here on Litrotica buut never read one where 'gill stimulation' was a thing - very creative.
