"That's okay," I smiled. "I'm sure we can remedy that later."
"I definitely will. I promise," she sighed, before rolling off of me and on to the bed. She curled up on her side and began to go to sleep.
I got out of bed and locked the back door, turned off the fireplace, and made sure all the candles were blown out. It was almost 5am. I got into bed and pulled up the sheets. Kelly was already asleep. I gave her a gentle kiss on her shoulder, then lay on my side behind her. In a matter of minutes, we were both sound asleep.
