All Comments on 'The Dire Consequences'

There were basically just five charecters in this story, five people that I'd happily throw under a bus. A well used plot, but I'll never understand how revenge fucking can help, and to fill it with such detestable people just destroys any sympathy from the reader. In the end I could only hope for something painfully terrible to happen to each and every one.

Why would Mark trust being around Kyle and Liam anywhere, with anyone, for any reason? Why would Ariana insist Mark go? Why did she make Mark agree to such an absurd request of her retaliation? OK she got some photos, they had to come from one of five people. Not the girl he cheated with, why would she send them? Besidesthey were taken by someone else, that knocks it down to five. How about the two were guys that resented Mark. Didn't Ariana know this and did Ariana collude with Kyle and Liam? Did Ariana plan to put Mark in a situation where he had to capitulate or risk losing her? What kind of woman would insist on forcing her husband to watch her being screwed, much less by someone he despised? Even more inconceivable, being double teamed by the two guys he despised the most! She admitted to wanting to cause Mark pain. I don't think she intended to reconcile. Ariana had already bought into Liam's lies. He chased, she folded, then fell. Too bad she destroyed Mark in the process. It sounds like he tried really hard to be a standup husband, he just was no match for a bunch of evil hearted conspirators.

You will never find favor as a writer by shutting down all anonymous comments because some are too harsh for you. Readership will remember your censorship. Moreover, I really like the moderated consequences. Here, not like in many stories of cheating wives, the cheating guy loses his marriage. that's pretty much it. Some social stigma, but nothing like in many stories of wives' infidelity, where she loses EVERYTHING for several pages, so much so that new laws have to be created to cheat them out of what they have earned being married to such simplistic husbands. "i go to work, i work hard, i am not really skilled otherwise...I love my kids...i don't like to dress up...i fuck by the manual, caressing, oral sex first, then a missionary fuck followed by doggy and then cuddles...i spend a lot of time not engaged with my spouse..."

Of course the scores are low, but, to me, low scores sometimes mean that it went over peoples' capacity to acknowledge and accept their own biases.

If you could post a few, I would love to find and read them.
