It's pretty misogynistic how the protagonist comes to his realization at the end, and I wonder if it's from the author's own experiences with prostitution.

Sad, tho, that he considers the booking with Fatima to be a disappointment; she's the character who seems the most intelligent, and I really enjoyed the conversations that were had with her. I bet she'd be a nice partner outside of the context of the club.
