Click here"Uh...that's fine" Stephen said after a long pause. He continued to look at me in disbelief, but he at least appeared to be calming down.
His first question, which is everyone's first question...it was even my first question, was of course, "Are you from Hell?"
I sat down in the chair opposite him, leaned back a bit and crossed my legs, before answering "No, I was actually born not too far from here, just long ago. To be honest, in my over two hundred years as an immortal, I've never seen anything to indicate a Heaven or Hell exists. No God who opposes us or a Devil who leads us, but there are several types of immortals that we'll maybe talk about later."
"Over two hundred years?" Stephen asked in disbelief.
I answered him, "Yes, over two hundred years, but I must admit I've lost track of the exact year. I stopped tracking dates when I became immortal."
"Became?" Stephen asked in disbelief.
I continued to think, looking for the best way to answer this question. "Succubi aren't born the same way mortals are. There are some similarities, but I was mortal and was given this gift."
I looked at him one last time before asking him, "Are you sure you want to hear this tale? You may never look at things the same afterwards."
Without hesitation, Stephen nodded, still not sure if he was imagining this, and I smiled and said "Good, now let start in the beginning."
