Somewhere along the way, I've lost my writing ability. That's what took me so long between Journey 8 and 9. I used to stare at a blank page for a few days, think "I suck I'll never get this done" then suddenly sit down and spew out a whole chapter in a day or two. Now I simply don't get past the "I suck" part. I used to write entire scenes in a sitting. But now I can maybe write one or two sentences, maybe a paragraph. And more often than not I delete what I've written and close the document until another day. I'm not sure what happened. There has been a lot of change in my personal life since I started The Journey. But, it is what it is.
To my loyal readers who have been with me since the beginning of Hard Landing, I apologize that I left Jane in a huge cliffhanger and made you wait over a year. I wished SO hard that I could have completed this sooner, but my poor, little brain just couldn't do it.
And finally, thank you Vivian Estrella Esparza. You have quite literally changed my life, by coming to life on my pages. You are the most interesting and challenging character I've ever written. I'm so proud of you, for not giving up, for getting through to the other side, and for becoming the woman you are now. Also your taste in music fundamentally changed my music listening habits, much for the better.

CorporalTravers2 months agoAfter just reading this in a single sitting, all I can think of is...wow. There were three things that touched me the most in this chapter:
1. Vivian making amends (and by extension, peace) with Addison.
2. Viv becoming a Sponsor herself to help others, just like Jack, Charlie and Patricia had helped her.
3. Viv and Jane taking in foster children from humble backgrounds to take care of them.
By the end of it all, I found myself tearing up in joy. Something no other Story on Literotica has achieved so far.

After all this, I am now very curious about the next chapter.
topcattopone3 months agoRead it again for the third time, what does that say? I'm sorry you feel you have lost your muse, don't believe that! It might have just gone into hibernation whilst you get on withother things that have comer inbto your life. Thank you for penning such compelling stories, so well researched and so "more-ish!"
