The Masked Ball apparently concludes with this second chapter. This is most unfortunate, because it is a superb romance story from start to finish. The characters are well-defined, and the dreamy atmosphere provides the perfect mood for the development of the plot to unfold. Sweet, tender, loving, this glorious romance story should have been much longer. Five stars.
