I'm liking the story so far, but we need more background info on Chris and Stacey's prior relationship to fully understand the dynamics here. Were they actually together? Why didn't the stay together? Does Chris love Jill, too? If Jill is as liberated as you describe, why is she in the dark?

If she is so open and understanding then why is he keeping it a secret? Because he knows that this crosses the line.

It is plainly obvious from the text that she wanted threesomes to happen only at her own pace and choosing. The guy wanted more, and, he happened to be in love with Stacey.

Not consistent. Why spend the first half describing group scenarios followed by reluctance?
