All Comments on 'The Road to Nowhere'

I'm confused. Were all six of them killed in the accident, or was it only Harold? I have assumed the latter. After the girls recovered or became ghosts, they administered to Harold. It's fiction. The story was well-written and the characters were all well-described The dialogue was simple but didn't give me a clue as to what had happened. The TV reported provided some background information, but what happened 103 years ago. The mystery continues.
