"But..." I stare at his unchanging angry expression. He can't be serious. What will I do now? "Dan."

My chest tightens as he picks up my bag and thrusts it toward me. I don't even know where my shoes are. I can't call anyone for a ride because everyone I know is either on my shit list or off at college. I can only stare at him until he points at the door, and I know there is no changing his mind.
As I pass through the living room his parents walk into the house. They exchange shocked glances and gawk at me as I glare at them and march out the front door. The only place I have to go is home, and that isn't going to be a great reunion. Maybe I can sneak in my window and Glenda and Dean won't even know I'm home. I just have to figure out what to do now.
