To be honest I'm not so sure you know what you want with this one since you deliberately took the worst course of action one could after a rape. By the look of things you're just punching one bad scene after the other to prove that the real world is harsh and it's not just roses and unicorns out there. Jack fucking other girls won't bring him any closer to his sister, her being good at dancing and getting great reviews will only prolong her pain and suffering, ditching communication only worsens things and it seems others (many others) are actually picking on on this and taking advantage of them.

As you yourself said you have the authorial right to bend our wishes but exercising that right cost your story it's flair and that touch of romance and sweetness that captivated us in the first place. Sadly I can't give this one more than a 1* and maybe hope for a better turn of events next time.

I’ve seen to many authors on this website make good stories bad by trying to add in drama to the stories. It just makes the stories more cliche and drawn out.

Doing one awful chapter is bad enough, but doing two in a row... last chapter for me... thanks for 5 good chapters

did another chapter got screwed up? I love twists & turns but I think Rachel getting raped is bad enough...then Jack had to give into a slutty girl's scheme...he should've grown some balls and man up...for crying out loud Rachel got violated and He was the only one who matters to her...hope Jack could find some way to redeem himself in the next chapter because I'd hate to give up a hot story that started out real good...on another note... I still wanna stick with this since I love most parts...with all due respect to the writers fine talent too...can't help but throw constructive criticism though

But my next chapter is about redemption and understanding, for those that like this series, thank you for your support.

Life IS hard and we can't ignore that these things happen, i have made an effort to bring my characters to life.

that being said, I love my Twins and want them to be together. i Just need them to be together in spite of EVERY hurdle a couple can face.

I dont think the chapters are bad at all personally. People who have a traimatic experience and comfide in someone only to feel rejected and blames by them would shut them out. I don’t think the “rape” scene was too much at all. This didnt start as a happy clappy story it started with an abusive brother getting knocked out! I don’t usually comment on things but felt the need for some positive feedback from someone who understands the benefit of trials and tribulations. Also i read them all at once so maybe that helped :)

Can't wait till the end! Happy or tragic great story. I like how you threw every horrid thing that can come from a rape minus a few. I only wish that your chapters were linger with more character development. I feel that Rach and Jack would have reacted a bit differently based on previous pages but do applaud your penmanship.
