Someone's a big fan of David Eddings, I see. Specifically The Redemption of Althalus.
Oh Eddings' work was a formative influence Llyander! Althalus, The Elenium and Tamuli trilogies, there's a bit of Emmy in Cithara and a touch of Sparhawk in Bart, in addition to dozens of other authors and media. I hope you enjoyed the little homage at the end!
Story telling in the extreme.
But if you want a truly awesome God?
Read the bible.
Creator of Heaven and Earth.
Omnipotent.
Damn good read, I've binged all 3 in a row and been unable to put them down.
No notes, just ignore the annoyed Christians.
I greatly enjoyed the whole trilogy and look forward to more. Yes I can defintely see the Eddings influence, but that is not in any way a bad thing, I always loved the balance of humour in his work, especially Elenium and Tamuli and Sparhawk.. love him.
Bart is different, but that is not a bad thing, he is your character and that is as it should be..
A great story.
Needed some timeline correction as it relates chronologically sound dictation of events.
However, these didn't take away anything from the story
Outstanding story never wanted to stop reading it. Looking forward to more in this realm that you created. Made it feel like you where right there. It would just a great story even with out the sex. You can see many more adventure's with the other charters and all can be tied back to the original story
