tiresome

I like the idea, and I like stories that mix romance and eroticism, but the non-stop professions of deep connections, universal love and openness are just tiresome.

The series reads like some weird religious propaganda.

In my opinion

Romantic1 is one of those authors who express their ideals through their writing. What brings me back, is the interesting storylines he develops around his idealism. His characters talk like adults, act like adults and try to express the better qualities of maturity.

Which is a relief after wading through the flood of adolescent, even infantile repetitious tedium that passes for most pornography. Too many postings are xerox copies of mediocre sex. My own stories turn-off a lot of readers, who find my expressions of my ideals and beliefs as just too strong for their delicate stomachs. {...Shrug...}

Much less my experimentation with Writing Styles that offends and incurs the collective wrath all the English Majors.

After thinking about it, the best explanation that I have so far come up with for reading works that I would never otherwise even consider worth my time. Is to force myself out of my comfort zone. To see if I can muster enough courage and resolve to confront myself with situations and ideas that otherwise I would reflexively reject.
