I really appreciate the care you give to the characters. When they have a bit of backstory and relationships with others, it really elevates the whole story. It reminds me of Gigglinggoblin's work.

If you are planning to continue in that direction, one idea might be permanent vulnerabilities or suggestions the characters accrue with each story. That way, when the catgirl meets her fourth lamia (inevitably), she'll already be primed for obedience and sinking into sparking, spinning eyes.

I loved your first story, and this is a great continuation! The world is a better place with more lamia stories <3
