"Okay bye," Trudy said, coming in to kiss him.
"See you when?"
"On WebEx, next Friday," Trudy quipped.

"Regional conference?"
"That's months away," Craig complained.
"Craig. I'm married. I have a son. Either wait until we go to Regional, or don't do it again."

"What deal?"

"And in return, we can leave George with mom for a trip just us two, and you can do whatever you want to me."

"So you'll get naked and fuck yourself with a piece of corn in a supermarket on the checkout on all fours?"
"Yes."
"And all I have to do is lose thirty pounds."
"Yes."
"We go away for a week?"
"4 days."
"5 nights," I countered.
"5 days."
"Done. I'll book it now."
"Relax," Trudy laughed. "Get started on your diet first. You don't know how long it will take."
"It won't take long, don't worry."
We kissed, in a way that we hadn't in a long time.
"You're gonna come back to me?" I asked warmly.

She also has a justification for more Strange, since he hasn't met that goal yet. Time to move countries and file suit for her abandonment.

He rejected the girl hitting on him and is waiting patiently for his wife to want sex again but then she cheats on him during strip uno? Let the husband find out she's cheating and kick her ass to the to the streets while he does that girl from earlier. That wife is so stupid.
Anonymousalmost 5 years agoThat left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't the NTR/cucking part. That can be well done depending on the writer. It was the fact that nearly the entire first part of the story was dedicated to showing just what a great man the husband is. Loyal, hard-working, attentive as a husband and father, and still very much in love with his wife, despite her career basically killing their intimacy. The story even makes it seem like he'll be the focus, until we move to the wife, who pretty much cheats on him for no reason, other than a hot guy challenged her to strip UNO.
That would be pretty normal as far poorly crafted NTR plots go, cheating with no real reason except that dick was present. But it then ends with her calling her husband fat and giving him an ultimatum that he needs to slim down for her to want anything to do with him. Fuck she even agrees to keep fucking the other guy regardless of what her husband does. The wife's character(or lack there of) is so cartoonishly self-centered that it almost made me laugh.
The story boils down to a genuinely well presented good husband, being cheated on for no reason by his remorseless sociopathic wife, who was in herself a non-character. I feel angry, not at the cheating part, but at the build up with the husband leading to such a failure on delivery with the wife, story and character-wise.
TL:DR Good opening, terrible execution everywhere else.
