I've got to say this is one of the worst stories I've ever read on Litrotica. As far as how to improve it, I don't think there is a way, except to stop right after the first paragraph. That will keep the painful experience to a minimum.

I will say that at least you did submit something for publication, which is more than a lot of us have done. But then I don't claim to be a writer, however I do know good stories when I read them, and this wasn't one of those.
