I feel no sadness at the death of Lori to be honest it angers me she took the cowards way out a person should suffer consequences for their transgressions. As for the jailbird his consequence is trivial compared to the pain he has inflicted. Anyway nice writing, really nice writing for it to illicit such a strong response from me.

(Sorry but this story got under my skin the main character had no integrity or honor he lived his life as a vile wretch feeding upon society)

it took a very long time to get around to the ending. It could have been much shorter, which would have helped the flow.

He played with women like they were toys and in the end a toy caused him to loose his freedom. Lori took the cowards way out(true) but I blame him just as much as her because everything he did, he did it to hurt people because he did give a shit. So in the end he got his. Being a pretty boy in prison is getting him a lot of love from the other inmates, so who's the toy now.

I expected to hear that the roommate of the 'fiance' was his parole officer...or the judge...or the prosecuting attorney.

I expected that the finace might have been closely involved with the State Transportation division...or the daughter of some such worthy.

I expected his 'frat brother' to totally fuck him over as he fucked so many other people over.

This was an uncomfortable tale to me, but well written. And just being uncomfortable does not make it bad. Nor is not meeting my expectations. It kept me guessing.

Not sure how much bearing Nathan's testimony is going to be. He's in jail for fraud, not fucking, but it has to be at least slightly persuasive. And I'm wondering how well he'll do after 15 years of hard slam does to his skin, his face and his soul, not to mention being 45 instead of 28. Too bad, so sad.

I hope Bubba is built like a torpedo and that this fucker hates the taste of sperm.

I enjoyed the writing (couple of glitches, nothing major), and the concept was original enough; but I didn't like the protagonist at all, and the length of time it took to reach what was (for me) a fairly predictable ending, and then the suicide... I dunno, it was less than the sum of its parts.

Not to say it was bad, just nothing here for me to like very much.

Well written piece. I am like the other commenters. Both Lori and Morrison were at fault. Lori didn't deserve to die and I perhaps would not have taken that approach if I had been writing this but looking at her character that was a possibility. Morrison got all he deserved and more. He was a truly despicable person. I liked the way he was dealt with. Lori did deserve heartache and a divorce. If she had truly been a moral and upright person she would not have let herself get into the position she did and cheat on her husband. I have never understood real life people who do things that would not pass the "spouse test" and who fall for lines like her lover used on her. Your story portrayed the seduction well and illustrated a woman who really wanted the excitement of cheating then expected a magic wand to make it all better. Not agonna happen. Enjoyable read. Elicited the proper emotions for each character. Disgust for Lori and Morrison.

Lori was vulnerable. He was a predator (as he himself says). He NEVER, NOT ONCE, indicated any feeling or guilt or concern for his prey. Why would anyone care about his pain now?

It is possible to care about a wounded predator, the proud lion injured and unable to hunt. But Morrison was anything but a proud predator. He constantly looked for the easy prey (as Lori especially was) never attacking directly but putting sheep's clothing on over his lion's mane. Never once does he indicate he has a friend or another person for whom he cares or with whom he can share an honest feeling. He may be a model prisoner, as he says he is, but I'll bet he is an even better compliant and subservient butt fuck for the tattooed, muscled, bad smelling prisoners who use him......he, unlike Lori, doesn't even have the guts to slit his own useless wrists.

Thank you Francis Macomber for a morality tale that was well written, carefully plotted, and interesting at every point. A 5 for absolutely and for sure!

this had a fair amount of the elements of Dangerous Liasons but lacked the deph of the characters. The narrator was pure narcissism with not a shred of remorse or self doubt or remorse that Valmont had. There was zero suspense on the Reader's mind as to the fate the author would consign him too.

Due credit is accorded to F.M. for this rich concept & closing ' unrelenting ' twist but if he had given his characters just a bit more deph Lori blithely swallowed & followed the breadcrumbs laid out for her ultimate doom. This was very good as reads go, make no mistake. Yet without some ambiguity , this story is not quite sublime.

Very skillful how you ran two parallel stories, the seduction of Lori and the signage sale, intertwined them and had them both nearly simultaneously explode. One of your best, but they are nearly all just as good.

The character of the sexual predator was kind of interesting in reading about his mindset and his manipulations... But this whole premise was forced. The does a great job about how this guy was unrelenting... Yet at the end we are told it was Lori's husband was unrelenting.??

The problem is this doesn't work at all this story. For 4 and 1/2 pages we are told about how this guy is singularly driven to do on thing ... fuck other women by any and all means ... Ethical and unethical legal and illegal... means . The only reason he's good at his job is so that he can make more money... Have a nicer place to live which increases his chances of fucking women.

Lori's husband shows up for three of four paragraphs at the end of the story. It's not even close to being unrelenting. Sure he is angry at what this guy did... and he blames him for driving Lori to suicide... But testifying in court for few days or few weeks... which by the way is Lori's husband has a legal obligation to do... does not come close to being unrelenting.

but I agree with HDK that it was a fair bit overlong. I was convinced of his sociopathic attitude towards women and sex long before the 'preface' involving HS, college and 'early urban' was drifted into the 'real' two threads of Lori-seduction and phantoms.

Good looks ruined him out of the gate. He became progressively worse. I could relate until the ring incident. He was fully on the dark side at that point. Would have loved to see the look on his face in the courtroom when he realized everything had gone north. The sad thing is that the young men now are taught to treat women badly. This was a trifle long and could have been done in 3 pages, but it is a well-executed story of an amoral prick seducing a little innocent who should have held said amoral prick at bay. An all too common scenario of life - not modern life either - this crap has been going on as long as there have been two sexes.

I've gotten into the habit of checking comments before I read a story. This one looked interesting. It really is two stories, a 3 page get the wife and a 2 page revenge one. Both were good, although the attempt to tie 'unrelenting' to the husband was weak

It's illegal to record someone without them knowing about it, and any such recordings would be thrown out in a court of law. Nathan would know that, and I'd recommend doing a little basic google-research in the future before playing the legal trickery in a story. I know that a lot of people use it in "cheating wives" stories, but that only works if they're recording in their own home where there is no expectation of privacy. In someone's private business, such as Larry's boss, in a bugging performed by a detective agency on behalf of a state worker like Nathan? That can and will get the law books thrown at you.

That said, this guy Larry is such an unrelenting douchebag, resulting to deceit and date-rape to get laid, that I can't help but not care.

Wow. BRILLIANT STORY!!!! This was one of the best. I am still on a high after reading this. I found this story so masterful that I was disappointed when it was over. The way he weaved his way into the wife's life was exactly how someone like him would do it. He was a complete narcissist and so caught up in his own hype that he made the PERFECT villain. When he described his tactics on seducing the wife, I couldn't stop laughing. He was the guy that you love to hate. While you hated his guts and couldn't wait for everything to blow up in his face, you couldn't help but to be impressed with his snakelike attacks. He knew exactly what he was doing.

I did feel sorry for the wife. She was a cheater who got played, but you couldn't help but to feel that she didn't really stand a chance. She was just too naïve trusting. She made such an easy target. If she were a gazelle, she'd be the one who would see the lion a long ways off and feel secure because she knows that she is faster. The lion creeps slowly towards her. Every time she sees the lion she still thinks she is safe because he doesn't look like he's moving. Before she knows it, the lion is picking his teeth with her bones.

As much as the main character amused me, I was hoping that this story wouldn't end with him getting away with it. But he paid for his crimes and then some. Couldn't have happened to a better guy.

He would wake up tied to a wall. I would wait until he was awake again before I used a straight razor to cut his clothing from his body. Then when he was nude, I would kneel down in front of him and take him by his cock. That I would move out of the way.

The Parole Board would take into consideration his behavior while in prison. The obviously biased testimony would have little effect on the Parole boards final decision. They are looking to get rid of people and not have to pay the cost of keeping someone like him in prison. He got out, moved away with the consent of his parole officer. He got a good job (after all, he could still sell and sales drive companies) and moved on with his life. With very little learned.

Unlike Karma which refers to a reincarnation cycle. Reaping what you sow only takes a season to reward the farmer. In this case, a scumbag that liked to take advantage of people fucked himself while fucking over others. He sowed dishonor, disrespect and deceit and now has reaped the rewards. When he finally gets out of prison, it will not end. It will never end.

BoRING....blah blah..blah...its Damn boring plot was pathetic..

You know pretty boys in jail always end up becoming some one wife inside the jail...I wish you could have written that he was raped..and become the prison white whore...that would b Karma...

That final line really kicks this story up a notch for me. It's easy to write stories about a douche bag who gets his comeuppance, but to do so while telling a story that is both compelling and cohesive is very impressive.

If you have time, I do have two questions about the writing:

1. Looking back, do you think you could have done a better job of disguising the foreshadowing when he firsts suggests the bribe? As I was reading it seemed really obvious that foreshadowed prison time since I couldn't think of any other reason it would have been included in the writing. On the other hand, when writing a short story keeping all information relevant is kind of important, so it might just be inevitable.

2. I don't really understand how the detective got a recording of him talking about the phantom signs because when they're having sex with Lori, he only refers to the Director as "my friend" and it seems unlikely they would be discussing signs at that point. How did you see it happening in your head, was the detective spying on him independently of his interactions with Lori?

Anyways, great story, intriguingly grotesque characters without sacrificing one's sense of justice. Good job, and thank you for writing.

We've all read many stories of unfaithful skanks here, but none that I've read so far have burrowed into the deranged psyche of an amoral predator as deeply as this one has. Those of us with any sort of moral compass are thoroughly outraged and disgusted with the character, which means that the author did his job quite well!

While it was clear that there would be consequences at the end, I was gagging in disgust all the way through the story, as you intended. ;-)

Top marks for another well-told tale!

Often stories vaguely cover the lathario’s actions, usually from the female prey’s view point, or the spouse/fiancé’s review to the prey for how she was duped. This covers it from the actual predator, from beginning to end of the hunt. First I’ve read of it on Literotica.

Been thinking of trying to write something for the site, but I get stuck with the predator’s nitty-gritty view point, as I’m nowhere near being one myself. Oh, I can easily make gross generalities, but any further and I’d be making stuff up fro absolute thin air. This will help.

The closest I’ve ever gotten to one was one of my teenage years’ best friends. He picked up and dropped a very small handful (seriously, maybe 7-8 girls in 3 years) of girls in high school. But among us nerds and geeks we thought he was “The Man”. But he never went out of his way to say how or why he did it. Of course all us other friends wanted to know “how” he did it (very average looking guy), but he never let on. But, duh! Of course we thought we “knew” why he did it; we were teenage boys. But afterwards, years later, I’ve come to think it was more than that. I think it was training ground for him. I really think it started when he dated, for a couple of weeks someone who was at least 7 years older (17 v ~24; she was an RN). She was probably his first REAL challenge... and conquest.

We lost touch by the beginning of his second year in college. But a common friend of our’s, who went to the same college, told me he burned through women like crazy. One one, or two, or three-night stand after another. A lot of them were older (post-graduate student, and remember, at 20-21 4 or 5 years is a lot), and one or two were married. And this carried on through part of graduate school also. This particular story finally showed, perhaps, my friend’s thinking and reasoning processes.

Oddly, he was finally “nailed down” by a psychotic bitch (literally... ended up hospitalized) who somehow got him to commit. I think it took one crazy person to be able to seize another semi-crazy person.

I had a good friend his wife was a victim of a mister charming. My friend caught on confronted his wife she amided to her wrong doings and asked for forgiveness. He asked what would she would have done if I had cheated on her she said she would try to forgive me. He said really the way you acted when I just danced with an old high school friend how long it took her to treat him normal again. She was sorry again for the way she treated him. He said it was a tough road because different things keep coming up and causing backflashes and he gets upset for not going after prince charming. I said I know a guy who knows a guy that might be able to help him. He asked who? I said let me talk to the guy I knew and find out if something could be do. A few months later prince charming was found in a park naked with his privates screwed down to a teeter totter with a strap and screws. His testicles had to be removed but kept his non-functioning penis. I thought it serves him right.

The best description of this story is depressing. Yes, Lori was naive' and seduced by a skilled predator but at the end of the day she became a willing slut. But suicide is such an awful end that it's hard to take any pleasure out of reading this story.

Suicide is an act for which there can never be closure. Nathan will never understand her behavior or why she betrayed him so completely. He will never know whether she killed herself because she was ashamed of her betrayal of the love they shared or because because she was rejected by Larry her seducer and master. Family and friends will never learn the details of her debauchery so her motives and her husband's contribution to them will be suspected.

Larry of course is a despicable person and totally amoral. A feature often found in this author's characters.

That said, if we are to read FM's stories, we must be prepared to engage hateful people. This makes it difficult for the reader to "enjoy" the story.

While the story is well written though possibly a little too drawn out, it is laced with pain for all major players.

I don't think I'd read it again nor would I recommend it to readers who prefer a neat, satisfying ending where justice is preserved, evil is punished and there's a happy ever after.

I for one, find suicide distasteful even when it's the antagonist. I wish it had been included in the list of tags.

The SOB got what he deserved. I only continued reading the story to see if he got what he deserved from doing to others. Not my cup of tea though. Still a 4.

I wanted to quit this this story several times but your reputation kept me going and I am not all dissatisfied with the story.
