I've read this before, and I'm glad I found it again. It's pretty hot. I appreciate things the other commenters mentioned: humor, character development, trope subversion, etc., but I also find myself thinking how wonderful it would be to enjoy my job that much! Mind control and conditioning are dangerously tantalizing...

Loved the way this turns the genre on it's head. Kudos.

Wow. Outstanding

Not only great satire, but a well rounded believable character in a page and 1/2.

Great work.

Thoroughly entertaining.

This wasn't one of those humiliation-drenched surrender plots, which I reallly appreciate. The character interviewed was fresh, and had a more masculine attitude to things than the usual feminine damsel scenario.. Thanks for writing!

Soma indeed...

... I have never been a big fan of the 'Mind Control' genre. To me those stories mostly seem to combine wish fulfillment with Deus ex Machina. Tediously monotonous.

However, this story is funny and a biting satire of modern society. Yes, for us Deltas, to paraphrase Karl Marx "Mind Control is a benign opiate of the masses".

And the Murdochs of the World make sure we get our daily dosage.

Needs "Closure"...

This story is awesome — a person who did NOT mind being hypnotized!

However, you need to have "Mr. Federer's" Trial, in order to wrap-up this story!
