This is my first read of this series, the self deprecated humour made me laugh.

My only "complaint" is i still feel this idea should have been saved for a longer story. Maybe you can revamp and retell it some day.

But you know I love your writing. And Emma and Lily are always fun to hear from.

Not being familiar with this demon stuff characters, the first few paragraphs were confusing. I would have expected less there as this was a 750-word event. I would chopped more wood off the beginning and at least had some interaction with the angel - a word or two before the gag at least? Still I'll rate this as a four for some good writing.
