Another excellent story, you never fail in that regard.

Excellent story! A little different from your others that I've enjoyed, but equally well written. And I can truthfully say firsthand, that you described perfectly how trauma can affect memory. The cracks in Marty's dammed up memory are beginning to seep more and more water, eroding the structure. By the time he gets back home, that dam will have probably collapsed, and his mind will seem clearer than it's ever been.
