As we turned to be announced as husbands and wives, I heard gun shots. The last thing I remembered was turning and reaching for Kathy. I felt fire in my back as I went to the ground. When the smoke cleared the police had killed four shooters. I was taken to the hospital as well as most of the wedding party in police cars. Ambulances arrived minutes later and assisted with others.
