I liked this story very much except the end. I thought they would have gotten married and adopted a boy and a girl.

OMG! This was a beautiful and moving story. These characters were sweet and familiar to me. My early years were filled with artistic people like this. Oh man I loved your story of you and Sam. Up till a year ago I had a good friend named Summer a black transgendered girl I met in 2017 when we both were in a VA run homeless shelter. She was such a sweet person. Once I got my own apartment Summer would come over once a week for dinner and a movie. Then about a year ago she disappeared.
