Ok, this is going to be long, but damn, so good! I grew up in restaurants so it was cool to see restaurant life so accurately represented, and the dialogue was so fluid and natural. Flawed yet interesting main characters… check. The sex was scintillating. Love the mention of looneys and toques for Canadian flair(no poutine, tho. Oh well). Alright. Im done gushing. Excellent work

loved it

I managed to avoid food service, but the life in a job really sounded real. I was a bookstore worker drone instead, and a gradual student.

And the staff always know (well, not me, actually, I'm blind to relationships and such, my wife rightly calls me Dr. Oblivious. She had to ask me out first, of course)...

This story was well worth the wait! Readers sometime forget that writers, like yourself, have families and personal/professional obligations which take precedence. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to read your works--they are very well done.

Thanks again.

These comments are so sweet they made me drop another 1000 words on my next story.

And G hit it right on the head--my kids infected us all with every schoolyard illness this winter, and life kind of took over. But I have 5 stories I've started but haven't finished, so I'm aiming to post more consistently. Much love.

Amazing author, brought me right back to the kitchen after six years away. Difficult to read about the main character's father passing as I lost mine around the same time in life. Flynn... I really appreciated the Easter Eggs, and I'm sorry it took me so long to read this. -S

Loved your stories when I found out they were based in Canada. Loved this one even more because I'm Filipino and grew up in Ottawa, though now )living stateside. Keep up the great work!

Wow, a great story well told, with MCs I would love to know IRL. The details of Ottawa, restaurant work, Filipino and Ojibwa life give this story tremendous authenticity. Great dialogue too. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of your works. 5*

Thanks for dropping by. I'm a long-time writer but only recently joined Literotica when I was able to get back into my craft for love and no longer for money. My stories will almost always feature interracial couples, although that's not by far the main theme of any of them....
