I agree with Frivolous for the idea of a story about Jack's son. I can imagine having a plot of maybe Miranda or farrah having a daughter with their husband's to please them, only for their daughter to grow up, and have the mother reach out to a now elder Jack who has time on his hands to set up perhaps one of his sons born to Trixie Ann or one of the Callaghan sisters, to marry their daughter so they can have a Grierson man in their life like they did. It would work better if the husband of the mistress who bore the daughter was aware of Jack sleeping with his wife in the past, since you could have Jack walk the mother of his son down the isle at the wedding instead of her husband, signifying to the father of the daughter that Jack is really the sons father and that he will be cuckolded a second time
