I don't want to be trivial to you
I want to matter
Don't say it didnt mean anything
That I'm your everything

Im tired of clichés

Everyone has their reasons
I know
I never said it was your fault

Everyone makes mistakes
I know
And I forgive you
Every time

I've always been there
Said 'I love you' a million times
And meant everyone

But you're making me doubt us
Something I thought I'd never do

You said you were different
That you weren't like them
That you wouldn't hurt me...
Well you hurt me

I know what you did
But I want to hear you say it

Was it my fault
Did I drive you to it

Just talk to me
Tell me why
Look me in the eyes and say it

Don't be a coward
And tell me why
Just whatever you do
Don't lie

I hear your apologies
I hear your pleas
But do you care that you hurt me

Do you know how I feel
The hurt
The betrayal

No! You don't!
You can get on your hands and knees
But I don't think I can ever forgive you
And you know why

So this is goodbye
Next time
Don't Lie
