Well...

ain't THAT the truth! If you have a patent on that poetry decoder ring, I would like to be the first to place an order for one! I really enjoy reading the poetry presented here on Lit, but find Myself very frustrated when I come across one that I know is good {just by the "feel" of it}, but simply don't understand. I get the idea that I'm missing out on something I would truly enjoy and it makes matters worse. You just need to iron out the kinks with that ring, Art. You need to eliminate the "please begin again" mode and get it to where it's less confused than us! <grinnin'>

That ring...

would be a very useful invention although it would somehow take away some of the poem's mystery. Sometimes it's interesting to try and decipher them and they can also hold several different meanings, depending on one's personal perception.

Huh???

Please again begin,

obscure and deep are not the same;

the fault is not the ring,

but in the poet's convoluted mind

With patent pending the publishers package

with every book of verse on sale

the key to understanding

but all it says is please, again begin

please, again begin, please, again............
