How it is that neither of these happily married people recognize each other....I mean, alcohol and adrenaline can certainly distort reality, but your lover of many years is generally recognizable even with shots and a hood. Alluding to their relationship throughout the scene without including a sense of either one of them even remotely close to recognition kinda broke it for me. I love the concept and where you went with it, though. All in all, not a bad read. Thanks!
