They kissed again, and he held her close, his body and tenderness reassuring her.
"Well...you will never see her again...except in the video, of course." He kissed her again, slowly running his fingers through her hair. "But I believe you now. And I think I might grant my pets wish."
He kissed her once more, and she watched him drift off to sleep. It took her awhile to calm herself down, and then she softly kissed his forehead and passed out next to him, a smile of true happiness etched on her face.
