The writing is pathetic. (And that perspective has nothing to do with the category.) If nothing else, get a good editor. Then, try getting a focus on plausibility and historical realities.

Your main character is in a cart in the beginning of the story and a car at the end. Which was correct? (NOTE: Cars weren't invented until the late 1880's, and weren't in common use until the early 1900's.) The word Bra wasn't in common use until that garment was being mass produced in the 1930's.
