this was hot! i liked the first chapter and was a little disappointed when the second chapter was a repeat but now that you have fixed it, i am no longer disappointed and i'm really excited about this story

I am not convinced by either of the main characters. No way he would ever admit to her that he would kill her brother and how can she ignore that just because he wears nice aftershave? sorry there is too much of a fairy tale feel for my taste. -- UK CYNIC

Christos is a thug - not that he's any worse than the so called 'legit' corporate executives, bankers, academics, and politicians in the world. However, he has threatened to kill her brother so that he can 'have her.' That would just make me angry and I'd want to get rid of him right then and there. You just don't threaten to kill a member of someone's family and then expect them to take you on as their love interest - assuming I'm correct in where this is leading. The ultimate problem though is that her brother sounds like a total fuck up and she's going to have to reel his ass in.

Let's recap: Darien's loser brother gets involved with a thug, who lends him money so he can "own" her. When she tries to pay the deb, he changes the game so he can essentially rape her. Defend it however you want, but it was coercion. Women get romantically stupid about the nature of "bad boys" and tend to glorify this as desire, but it's rape. What Marcellus needs is a bullet through the brain, nothing else.

Sadly, this story will simply go along the romance novel path and the woman who should be trying to put this animal down like the rabid dog he is, will fall in love and the author will try to redeem his irredeemable actions. I don't even have to read the rest to see the idiocy on the horizon.

And women wonder why they end up in relationships with controlling men who slap them around. Because they fantasize crap like this.

Some people are so fucking annoying, like is just a story, GET OVER IT!! That's the whole point of writing and trying something different, people act like your writing a story based on your life, is fiction!! Even if it was based on a true story is yourrrrrr story, don't like it then don't read it!! But anyways I love it!! <3
