Outstanding series. I enjoy the psychological warfare being played. Logic and reason with love will always win out over insecurity, phony modestry, and/or irrational boundaries arbitrarily place on society by people long since dead. For the mother to be so wise, mature, and experienced, she fails to realize her son is no longer a child but a mature human male with all the needs and wants she has. Hopefully she knows him well enough that she can recognize when he is telling tghe truth/being honest with her.

a little bit too wordy and repetitive - if yuou paced it a little bit faster maybe the next chapter would redeem the first...
