The majority of the characters are coming off as if they're in need of therapy, and not very sympathetically either.

There seems to be a lot of potential for a great story here, but the way the characters are being presented makes it difficult to appreciate the rest of it...

After struggling thru to here I just can't read any further, unfortunately.
