Steve rushed in, wildly swinging the bat hitting nothing but air. Julia quickly crawled behind the couch watching the four men easily dodging the bat while surrounding Steve. Steve being a convict, unemployed and now having a record for violence lost custody of his son and was allowed only one supervised visit four times a year. Taking his own life one year later after violating his parole while trying to see his son. He was charged with attemped kidnapping and was facing ten to twenty years. Julia didn't attend his funeral telling her son that his father was mentally unstable and didn't want him to have any contact with his dad's side of the family. As the years passed Julia continued to work, dating occasionally but never remarrying. Her son gave up baseball and starting acting out so much that after getting in trouble with the law for repeatedly hitting a girl classmate in the head with a rock was taken out of public school and remanded to a high security reform school by the justice department. Julia figured he had inherited his behavior from his father and had very little to do with him. He was killed in a gang shoot out at the age of 24. When Julia heard the news she just shook her head wondering how she ever got so involved with such mentally impaired men. She didn't attend the funeral. Julia died at the age of 56 of Cirrhosis of the liver. She was cremated without a service and her estate was turned over to the state for lack of a will and any caring relatives

I was hoping that Steve might have gotten buff in the mean time and his wife just hasn't noticed since she doesn't pay any attention to him anyway. He should have gone to the gym and taken martial arts so now he's here to beat the shit out of Mr. Olympic Triathlon and friends as well as divorce her cheating ass.

Instead of helping her husband Steve, maybe getting him to a doctor, shrink, whatever, Julia sluts around on him and destroys her family. I guess her wedding vows meant nothing to her. Not just the fidelity vows -- can't have a LW (cheating wife) story without breaking those -- but the sickness and in health vows . . . I can't believe she is not carrying half a dozen STD's considering all the swapping of bodily fluids with which she has partaken.

Sorry but I have give 4 stars. I liked it, hard to believe, but I did.

The ending I thought was perfect. The reader can end it however they want to end it!

The wife, and I use the term loosely, is heinous and despicable. Ian is just another predator waiting for stupid housewives. No I am not cutting her any slack, but he would probably flips one or two a year. So the hard to believe part is that it lasted that long.

My finish (in brief)
