Geese... Well written story.... well.... for a patriarchal LDS epic written on mescaline. Not sure what to think of this one. I really did not like the first 3 chapters and rated them a single star.

I also thought he was going to be replaced by lesbian relationships.

Luckily (I guess) it turned out to be a hippie commune free for all - one guy and three women.

In this case, KARMA worked out in his favor - not like 90% of the other stories in the LW category.

Thought the betrayal was going to be a lesbian affair with Karen for the last 12 months, not threesome blackmail sex with George also, who Julie did not really like and apparently did not really enjoy. Lot of inconsistencies between the first two chapters and the final chapter. Makes you wonder if the author had scoped this out beforehand or added thr threesome cheating in as he went further along. Yes therr are hints at end of chapter 2 but went way overboard. Basically invalidates everything we see and hear about Julie. Except antidepressants are used as the deux ex machina explanation. I agree with prior comment: Karen is the worse. Karma should have claimed her also. She was as bad or worse in her way than George. Julie fucked up but was vulnerable and a victim, though definitely a cheating slut. Karen in her quest for better sex, better orgasms, her kust for James, and her fantasies about swapping ended up pure evil. She is irredeemable.

Twisted betrayal. Karen was an a solute selfish bitch. Julie and her were best friends, but Julie had the miscarriage, the antidepressants, mixed with alcohol, and then was blackmailed by George who thought that James was cucking him with Karen. And what did Karen do? First, she lied to George claiming that James was fucking her after her accidental outbursts of "James" and the forceful sex. She didn't come clean. Then she gets into it with the lonely and depressed Julie and George discovers them and starts roughly fucking Julie and taking pictures and threatening blackmail with additional threesomes. Karen knew that Julie was conflicted but lured in with the swap that would happen with James and everything would be fixed. So Karen used the carrot and George the stick. So Julie who didn't really enjoy the rough sex from George but enjoyed being with Karen and hence rhe threesome, continued plugging as way for a year again under the influence of Karen, the swap fantasy (which would wipe the slate of guilt clean), the antidepressants (which she realized later with alcohol especially, basically almost ruined her marriage), George's rough fucking and the blackmail threat. Only when George decided to "get even", what a spastic worm, and got Julie drunk and took her despite her saying "no" and trying to stop him part way through, dis things blow up. Even before she learned about the divorce papers, she realized she was done with George. Don't get me wrong. Julie is a cheating slut for what she did to get into bed with Karen and then rhe threesome which she could have resisted and screamed. And worse she listened to the blackmail, only taking a stand when he forced her rhat one time solo at the end. But she also was a slut learning how to deepthroat, practicing on James, new positions, etc. Don't kid yourself. She liked the threesome sex, even through she didn't really enjoy her time with George and was taken in by the rough sex being different. We know from both women telling James directly and their talking later on recording that James was by far the superior lover. But it doesn't make the betrayal less monstrous. One time cheating incident with George and Julie nearly killed the MC and ked him to get ready for a divorce and then they worked it out and he forgave her. But the real betrayal was the year or more of threesome sex. Gah! But in all of this though Julie is a slut wife who broke her vows repeatedly, at least there are some extenuating circumstances, though seems implausible to forgive due to duration and magnitude, like the antidepressants, liquor, blackmail, overload of threesome sex, and Karen begging her not come clean or tell George that Karen and James were not fucking, etc. That is what gets me irate. George was some crazy cuckold who got off on his wife getting fucked by James (even though it was a lie), then he blackmailed Julie, and then he seduced and practically forced her and got caught, but then tried to rape James' daughter Amy to "get back at him". Wtf? Ok karma did the simple thing and George died where he rots in hell. But Karen? Wth about her? She started with the lying for what she thought was good sex (since before that George was pathetic in bed), seduced Julie, got Julie into the threesomes by accident, let George keep blackmailing Julie (WTF!!!), begged Julie not.to come clean to George that James was NOT fucking Karen, tried to force the swap, tried to seduce James, and then cut into their marital bed after George died! Karen is an absolute monster who for.better orgasm was willing to do anything including basically pimping out Julie to George during threesome sex for over a year. Wtf! Karen should be banished. George thankfully died. And there is no plausible way in this space time continuum that James forgives Julie a second time for her part in the betrayal. But Karen? Gah! In lots of cases after learning the truth, the MC if not having another widowmaker attack would have instead committed a double murder-suicide in front of the innocent Issy. Rhe waynthis all played out with car crash, his apparent death, rhe women's tears, and the expanded harem was a crazy read. Creative but untenable.

I personally don't agree with the story. However, it is what it is. If I was James I would have taken Issy up to the bedroom and made the other two wait due to their actions. Just to put them in their place and would have made them wait several days whilst he slept alone with her. Unsure why they could not be responsible and reduce the number of babies they seem to have had and to be excepting to have. As to the story, I feel it detracted from it having Julie was having an affair with fat head. Something else could have caused his heart attack from another scenario. Laura was well written. I also feel the author changed the story in the last chapters, as brought out in the comments, Julie not wanting to be seen topless by George but then we find he banged her weekly etcetera. Julie gave no hint of that after her one time with George.

OMG, I'm shocked at the vitriol from the other commenters. I don't always like the way a story ends but that doesn't mean its a bad story. I did like this series. IF I were in the guy's position, I wouldn't have forgiven my wife and her pimp but that's me. The flaws in this story are a reflection of the flaws in the author's personality. My guess is that Sid is a highly intelligent, driven coward. For his entire life, he has watched men he considers his inferiors win all the great women. He probably had women he was dating either cheat on him openly, or dump him with contempt. Scores 1/5 for being a dreadful story

He reacts that badly to just one time between Julie and George, but just accepts a year long affair, not just between Julie and George, but with Karen as well. No, just no. Not a chance in hell that he does that. I know most won't see what Julie and Karen did as cheating, but it was. The whole thing was a huge betrayal, and then to almost get his daughter raped in the process, there isn't any way he goes back to the cheating bitches. I'm sorry, but your ending killed the rest of the story.

This was a tough story that was winding down into a pretty good ending. Even after the devastating revelation of Julie and Karen's betrayal there was still material there to bring about a good ending that included all four involved, including Issy. Unfortunately, Sid did something that I absolutely hate with reconciliation stories... he took shortcuts and completely avoided the "messy" details.

Putting aside the ridiculous things like a man his age having foursomes using viagra after having three "massive" heart attacks, too many issues were left unaddressed when he decided to go back. There just wasn't enough said about how he dealt with the incredible selfishness of the women who'd betrayed him. He just... watched them online being sad and regretful, far after the damage had already been done, and decided he still loved them and went home. Oh, then Laura's getting married. Now jump six months ahead! Wait, what? Where was all of the drama, the confrontations? Sid took the shortcut and left all that messy stuff out and basically cheated the readers.

By making James come home then skipping over the confrontation with Julie and Karen all of the drama and realism was leeched from the story leaving the readers feeling as though they couldn't get behind the reconciliation. Why was he going back to two women who'd so selfishly and grievously betrayed him for years? By not showing how he talked it through with them readers are left to think the only reason he stayed was because of his kids and because he was getting it on with two chicks. Frankly, given how those two stabbed him repeatedly in the back, he wasn't getting much of a deal there, so why would Sid skip describing why it was worth staying? The way they talked about it while James was eavesdropping showed they had very little remorse about what they'd done and figured, "Oh, well, it worked out in the end and what he doesn't know won't hurt him." That is not love. Had George still been alive would they really have still felt that way? Also, why didn't he confront them about his new knowledge that George was a rapist?

Sorry, there was so much glossed over that I just couldn't get behind this ending. Without talking over everything they'd done to him, everything he now knew about them, everything he now knew about George, and showing exactly how the two bitches were going to repent and atone for the "massive" damage they'd done, other than hot sex requiring viagra, it just wasn't believable. The most palatable conclusion would have been to divorce Julie and go with his plan of moving into the house next door with Issy so he could be close to his children and still have a woman who loved him and hadn't selfishly and repeatedly betrayed him. The ending Sid chose to write does not work when left as is.

Was with this story, but when he found out that it wasn't just the once his wife had cheated but for over a year he just folded, but when he thought it was only once he went nuclear, ending completely ruined what was otherwise a pretty good story, hence only 2*

Congrats. Good story. A solid four out of five. I have one criticism and that is Julie wasn't properly punished and sorry for her cheating. Karen wasn't married to James when the cheating happened but Julie was. I am not a full BTB reader. I like a good RAAC story and this certainly was that. But I would have liked to see Julie banished at least to the spare bedroom, if not Izzy's house next door, after James returned for a while until she fully apologized. James could have refused to speak to her, communicating only through the children and Karen and Izzy. A story about a weak pathetic man and the women that betrayed and made a fool of him over and over.

The first chapter was pretty good, the security system was contrived but it was understandable as a plot device and set up an interesting situation. But each chapter afterwards seemed to be written by different authors, it went so far off the rails. In Chapter 2 James is suddenly talking about how he put some idea in George's head that led to him taking advantage and seducing his wife (no mention in Chapter 1 of this), but whatever James was talking about never gets explained and that plot point was never mentioned again. Then the story went full-out crazy after that. James cares so much about his friendship with Karen that he won't sleep with her and ruin it, until her husband dies and then it's all good. In Chapter 1, James' wife was obviously upset about what happened with George at the house, and her behavior is consistent with a one-off betrayal, but then later we find out they've been going at it together for awhile. So why was she so upset? I understand some mistakes in continuity will get made, but this was impossible to enjoy because of them.

To other readers - pass on this one but read some of this author's better & more plausible stuff.

of time reading this story. No wonder he had to take a blue pill. It would have never gotten hard on its own. I can see him accepting Issy and loving her but the other two he should only treat as the sluts they were. Fuck them hard but never with any love. Won't waste any time reading any other of the stories from this writer.

Julie, of all people, should have been punished. She cheated on him then lied for years, some punishment should have been meted out. Karen, not quite so much, she just covered for Julie cheating so she should have been punished some, too. What a pussy-whipped wimp, I thought he was a man.

A well written story with a good plot BUT How could the supposed man take the 2 women back! They played him for a fool for a year or longer and they enjoyed it. Respect-None; Love-None; They could talk all they want but their actions speak louder than any words they could possibly say. he is actually lower than a wimp, if there is such a thing. The story went from a 5 to 1 when he took them back. As I read this last section, I kinda knew he was going to take them back and I literally got sick to my stomach. I hoped he ended up with the new woman that didn't mess him over. Terrible ending

The beginning of the story was excellent. By the end it just got so far off of the beaten path that it was no longer enjoyable. I hate stories that are written by male authors when they are horny. It went from being a really good story to this guy have three wives who are horny all of the time and don't mind sharing. Karen's husband was barely in the grave. Instead of grieving she moves in to a threesome relationship? I don't care how much the women used to have sex with each other, I find it hard to believe that Julie would be willing to share her husband's LOVE. That is implausible in the real world. But this is an erotic story site, so I guess it is fair game. The only thing that came close to redeeming this chapter was the twist. Other than that, this story gradually went from a 5 to a 1.

He should stick with Issa (after all, SHE never betrayed him) and let Karen and Julie entertain each other as they have been doing for the last 4 or 5 years. A good story degenerated into this mish-mash of improbable crap.

If he has to accept that she's a cheatin' whore, they get to live knowing that they killed George.

but then I felt it degenerated into tomfoolery. Sorry, I just think there was so much more potential.

While I thought it was excellent story, and agree with the ending, I think you let Julie and Karen off TOO easily.

Maybe you didn't want to lengthen the story anymore than it was, but James was deadset against cheating and lack of honesty. The only reason he forgave her the first time was because he thought Julie was honest with him, BUT SHE WASN'T!

As far as Karen was concerned, he thought they were best friends, but best friends don't have affairs with the others wife and that is what She did with Julie.

But I really did like the story!
