LOL, I must be the only one to get that it’s a satire. Sounds like something Brett Easton Ellis would write for the fun of it. If you don’t like the main character, that’s because you’re not supposed to; the author was intentionally casting a mirror onto contemporary culture. I’ve been to Vegas and the strip is crawling with Jakes.
