Glad Nathan told Louise. Now I hope Barb and Hans can work it out, he's the perfect person to whip her into shape.

I'm glad Nathan and Louise are getting stronger as a couple... But Barb is feeling herself a lil bit to much and hopefully Hans prayer to The Fates workout but if it dont. I think Hans should talk to someone about it and by someone i mean Patrick Sinclaire so Hans won't have to go threw it alone, but either way Hans can handle Barb nontheless he just have to put up with her bad attitude, smart mouth, and i deserve the world act!!!

I am glad Lou knows Nathan's a vampire. As for Hans, I waiting on him to give Barb the smack down she deserves. I can't wait to see her begging for mercy.

Also what so special about the Yancy women? Does Barb have any special gifts? And if so, will being close to her mate bring out those gifts?

she opened the door AND? This maybe your best cliffhanger yet! After everything that happened w/Barb and Louise deciding to just accept Barb for who she is, it was really nice for Nathan to give Louise all the praise due her. He pointed out all the things that he sees in her that help make up the strong woman she already is. And then spends the next two hours getting to know her. How does the evening end? Nathan explains he's her mate and that he is a vampire and will she be his. And after all that you leave me w/"she opens the door"! I'm going to be mad at you until I get chapter 7

i am so glad that Louise took the news so calmly i just hope she takes the rest as good. I can not wait to see how the rest goes.

As far as Barb they say Karma is a bitch ( almost as big of one as she is) and i can not wait till she gets hers

Finally, Louise is pushing back. Is Barb redeemable? Will Hans have his prayer answered? Louise is taking Nathan being a vampire very calmly. Of course the old saying is the calm before the storm. I also found it interesting that both Barb and Kevyn made reference about watching out for the quiet one. I hope Lou comes out of her shell a little quicker. Her opening the door for Nathan is a good sign. Interesting that Julie and Leon were brought up too.

Heh. As much as I like Barb the first page of the story she was kinda working my nerves. The second page was cool. I'm happy they were able to address some of these issues, not agree but at least they're a little better. Barb giving Louise advice was nice, and it kind of had me cackling with Kevyn thoughts about Barb being a gold digger. I really do think she needs to apologize to Nadine. She didn't like she she was talked to that was so she needs to think about her actions and make amends. I still think she's redeemable. I've seen way worst character get redeemed(Yeah, I looking at you Ethan.) I love how Louise has steadily gotten more and more confident. As much as people seem to hate Barb, she really did give some sound advice to Louise. Oh no Hans, praying to the Fates would make it too easy.(Way too much God of War. lol) Though I think there probably is a bigger plan for Hans in Barb's life you never know they might take mercy on him. It's hard to say. =/

Joseph. Hmm I hope we get to learn more about him in this story. I saw of you profile how your planing to write him a story. I can't wait to read it. Also I'm curious about Juliet, you touched on her a bit. That she was like Barb but not as bad, then there was that phone call between her and Barb. I'm just curious. With all these new character I'm just itching to meet all of them. I really would love to continue the growth with Louise continuing to grow, Barb leaving Barbie in the past and becoming less materialists(no a full change because that wouldn't be Barb, but maybe becoming more driven to work more/ be more independent.) Kevyn and Patrick relationship becoming 100%. .

I want Barb to hit rock bottom that even when she looks up, she still cant see the bottom, i want her to work HARD for everthing she gets that she will sweat blood and tears to keep it. She should not be blessed with a nice man like Hans.

Barbara does not deserve Hans, give him a new mate.

Excellent chapter hopefully Hans will have a different mate someone who doesn't mind being middle class. Also hopefully nathan and Louise will become even more in love. And start a story with them and their family.

I think Barb is a very hard character to appreciate but every person like that is like that for a reason... In real life nobody gets that way all on their own. I do feel sympathy for her though because although she has a messed up way of going about it she probably just needs love like everybody else. I think it's wrong that hans should reject his mate without trying to understand and change her. I for one never bought how mates are supposed to be instantly and magically perfect even though I love your stories. If that is how it works for the characters, however, then there is probably a good reason Barb was chosen as Hans' mate and I can't wait to find out.Just seems to me that relationships are usually about hard work and him just rejecting Barb like that without digging deeper into who she is and why? I love your texts as always but I am getting a bit tired of her being so demonised all the time. Even their brother Gene that almost helped in Kevyns killing was not so vilified and what he did is even worse.

Why do I feel like something horrible is going to happen to barb? I'm not sure what but it feels like it will be very drastic for her and Hans to understand that they don't choose their mates. They are in for a rude awakening.

You're a good writer, but these stories concerning the sinclaire family are kind of boring. And I understand that these stories don't need to be written porn, but there is nothing erotic about them, concerning this particular group. I just wanted to get my opinion off my chest.

Was so happy to see this update and really enjoyed it too but of course I can't wait to see what happens next so happy that Nathan finally told Louise about himself and now looking forward to see what her answer is gonna be. Poor Hans wondering if he will ever change his mine concerning Barb someone really need to give her a humbling wake up call and perhaps he's just the one to do it. kind of the same plot add some more excitement . but all in all I love your stories

Im sure that everyone here has his or her own opinion about the stories posted. I would just like to say that I completely disagree with anonymous. These stories about the Sinclaire family are not boring!! These are well developed, thoughout characters that are blended effortlessly to create amazing plots that keeps us readers coming back day after day and week after week to check for updates. Kal, continue to write these amazing stories. Each update doesn't have to be hot, steamy, and sex filled. You have given each character substance and the story flows. Just my two cents.

I just had to add my opinion. I've read some comments where some people have said you Sinclair's stories are getting boring. Well I disagree. These stories continue to be fresh and orginal. Keep writing theses stories because I enjoy them.

Every chapter does not have to have the characters boinking left and right. What I appeciate about your stories is that you take the time and dealth to build your characters. Take Loiuse for instance, in the begging she was just a shy and quiet shut in who gave up her life to attend toher ill mother. Now as the story progress we see Louise's passionate nature and her wonderful gifts. I am enjoying her reationship with Nathan and her sister.s. Along with the subplot of Barb and Hans. With that said please update soon.

I dont think Barb is all that bad. Now im sure there will be backlash but here me out. Barb doesnt have to deal with your my mate and im from a long line of rapist drama! We have read it before and while I do think the story is evolving Im pretty sure Louise is going to go thru some drama and then become stronger and live happily ever after to a large extent. With Barb the possibilities are endless her gold digger ways could possibly force her to lose her true mate. I also see Barb totally freaking out about being one of the undead as opposed to Louise and Kevyn. I really enjoy this series but i must confess I scrolled down to see what scandalous actions dear Barb was engaging in. Do i want her to be taken down a peg sure do i want her to wake up and be at least civil and decent to her fellow human beings yes. I love her fire shes like the shrew in Taming of the Shrew just meaner lol. I do think shes psychic and possibly a victim of abuse but again that doesnt excuse her behavior for me. What im loving is the possibilities of this new character and the fact that I cant predict on any level what will happen .. While we can on some level with Louise since we know she is going to be tied up with the Sinclair family history/drama. Barb could possibly become a vamp but her potential love story isnt filled with the history we all know. Im looking forward to her and Hans sparring and where the story will take us all.

Over half the kids in this country have been abused according to Barb's definition. Heck, when I grew up, you got your butt whipped for next to nothing. You didn't get an allowance you got a job and once you got a job, you had to help pay the bills. I've worked since i was nine years old. I bought my own school clothes, supplies, and even snacks. No one in my family was obese (fat) cuz we could not afford lots of junk. Momma worked two jobs to keep a roof over our heads and make sure our needs were met. Thank God for social programs (food stamps) we would have starved. I had two younger siblings that I worked to help Momma support. We didn't have a Dad, all three were deadbeats.

The church and other good samaritans gave us clothes. Yes, I was teased everyday, until they realized that I hit hard.

Did I wish for a rich man? Hell no. Momma taught me to stand on my own and take care of my self. As the oldest I helped with the two youngest. My younger sister helped with the baby of the family. The youngest got to go to the prom and other school function, we made sure of that.

It's how you see it. Louise, Kevyn were close to Mom and Dad. I bet Barb didn't get the same amount of attention, she was not as close to them. Being picked on, called names, and raped, trying to fit in. So, yes, in Barb's mind she was ABUSED.

You don't have to like her or agree, but it's how she saw it. And perception is the key.

A glimmer of hope--maybe Barb will change. As for Louise, she took Nathan's talk pretty well. Maybe on some level she knew?? I hope that they can move forward in their relationship and that Barb really backs off. I feel sorry for Hans!!

Your stories are amazing but I think you should make the sex scenes a little more sexually detailed and have more of them keep up the good work.

You are the only author I know who can make very 'hateable' characters readable,ergo ethan (stupid rapist),patrick(he-gives- me-the-creeps rapist)and mason(too-full-of-yourself-and-you're not even good looking). i like that I have hate coursing thru my veins when I read about them!!!! Uh uhh!time to go for therapy.

On a serious note,u r different and a refreshing breathe of air on this site and if people want to get cheap jollies from a story then they should go somewhere else!!!!. U do a lot of character development which can be quite difficult (ask hollywood!!) and your stories build up nice and slow(if you want quick steam then read samuel x or other smut authors(trouble?!)

I must confess that the sinclaire vampires are a bit too tame,like humans who happen to drink blood and live long but as I said,different is very good.

Love reading about the Sinclair gang. I have hated these men and have fell in love with them again! Love the strong women as their mates. I have spent the last two days re-reading Ethan and Mason's stories and reading the rest. I love them. You are an excellent writer. hanks you for allowing us the opportunity to read them!

Magnificent story please continue. I can't wait to read what Louise does next to add even more spice Kevyn will expect a baby and Louise's ex boss will show up trying to get her back.
