It was nice to read such a delightful story containing many locations that I have seen. We spent our honeymoon in Little Yosemite Valley. We had friends who inhabited Camp 4 in the early 70's back in the glory days. Spent time in the "Big Tree" cathedrals carrying my son on my shoulders and watched the sun rise in the Valley and up at the Meadows. The only thing missing from your tale are the Marmots! Thank you for bringing back the memories!
