I'm from Ottawa, and went to Carleton University. This portrayal of the city couldn't be further off, or more wrong. There are large groups of minorities here, well accepted. His information about the city (Orleans and Nepean being different cities when they are local neighbourhoods) is completely wrong. Prejudices here barely exist compared to the US, where I have also lived. This would all be excusable if this was a good story.
