The twist was fairly nicely hidden, but NOT well enough. The statement in the foreword strongly suggested that this was NOT a TLW tale! 1) Too long. For a story that consists almost exclusively of sex and a twist, it is too long. No one wants to read three pages of wall-to-wall sex just to stroke to. If you wanted more than a stroke story, you needed more mind fuck less fuck fuck. If you wanted stroke, you need to keep it to one page, we only got one hand to work with here.

2) Too little twist. The twist was no big deal, most everyone would know Charles is not the husband the minute she starts having sex with him. This is Loving Wives after all. :-) This also relates to too long, if it was a 1 page stroke story then wall to wall sex and a little twist would be fine. As it was it was torturous to keep slogging through the knowing glances knowing the twist just to find out how/when the husband was going to show up.
