Oh, WoW!! That was just amazing I loved how Sam pursued Justin, she didn’t play games, she put herself right there for him to be in love with her or she could accept the fact that he wasn’t . I’m not sure I could chase a guy, my best friend, like that make love with him and accept that he didn’t love me back. I think Sam knew, she sensed Justin was just as much in love with her as she was for him, we girls kind of just know those things before our guys do. Maybe that’s why nine out of ten times we tell our men that we love them, before he either says it first or realizes he does love her back.

It was me who said “I Love You” first with my own best friend, now my husband almost thirty years ago, I already knew deep in my heart that he felt the same. We have been best friends since the first day of preschool, a whole lot of firsts together side by side as well as some firsts we couldn’t do side by side! What better way to begin a long lasting, life long love affair than to start it with your best friend. He had one girlfriend before me they never even made it past first base. I had never even been on a real date before him, not because I’m lacking in the looks department, (I’ve been told that I’m pretty by my best friend and both guys and gals). It’s just that everyone pretty much thought we were already a couple all through high school probably because we were always together anyway. I’m so glad my best friend and I took a chance and got together as a couple, we would have probably wondered “what if…” if we hadn’t.

A shopworn plot, but well done. l'm not sure how two people can be so close for so long and not realize how they feel about each other, but these kids managed it. I liked the two MC's and felt good about their success in becoming intimate. You never know where this will go for the two of them, but it certainly sounds promising. 4*

I thought it was hot and well written, but Sam should have let Justin have sex with someone else. It’s not like it was her first time. Yikes.

A good debut effort, but you wrote him as such a clueless dork that it actually put me off. The end result was predictable, but he was best summed up by her comment about taking one step forward and two steps back. I actually enjoy good character development, but he was too much of a weenie to care about.

I've read this a couple times now but it's been a while. Reading so many other stories that ran the same story line, I had forgotten that in the end, Sam was not virgin and had sex with previous boyfriends. Other stories had her character egging on the Justin in order to convince him she was the one he needed. I still love this one regardless. Excellent writing style.

As an aside due to Sam coming to Justin in high heels(maybe I should jump to TT or Twitter with this), I am personally disgusted with the whole 'high heels are sexy' bs. To me, a gal that wears flats or sandals are beautiful. A gal that crams her feet into pointy, too small high heels because they and society thinks it makes them look good are incredibly stupid and short sighted. I used to have the privilege to polish my grams shoes every weekend. One time I asked her why they looked so weirdly bumpy. My grandmother brought home the truth of it. She was a teacher that was REQUIRED to wear heels her whole career. In the end she could barely walk with her messed up feet. The hammer toes and bunions were enough to make you puke. Ever since I've been a foot and toe 'perve'. A recent news article that 2 actresses were almost banned from a red carpet event because they wanted to be comfortable without heels should say it all.

I loved the relationship development. This story wasn't some meaningless porno (that could have been a scene with Jen getting cum on her face), it was a budding romance. It would have been as emotionally satisfying without any sexy details. And it's so true, you know how much that person means to you in the after-cuddle.
