So far this story is a decent rehashing of a VERY VERY OLD plot line

The best story I've read in this category was VIRGIN (ON THE RIDICULOUS) by Jordan Shelbourne first posted in 1996. You can find it on a.s.s.m. or with Google.

This may be unfair - you may have a convoluted plot in mind - but so far this is too straighforward

If - and I imagine you did - read Sarah DiMuro's The Virgin Blogs - you could use some of her (mis)adventures as a 29 year old virgin trying to lose it before her thirtieth birthday. She didn't - then stopped the blog, so I assume she did, and didn't feel the need to tell everybody about it
