The synopsis was promising; I really did want to read this. And I tried. But the grammar/spelling/syntax made it so-o difficult.
The writing style's quite good, actually. But I look forward to seeing a decently edited version of this story.
I have recoiled at foolish commentators who have called some well-written stories substandard, but this story has numerous writing errors that are truly intrusive. It is substandard. Often the prose simply didn't state what the writer must have meant, given the point of the story. Finally I didn't finish the piece. What I don't understand is the strangely high score given this effort at the time I chose to read it.
What are the chances, im_a_sub. Don't listen to those who want to drag you down -- this is a good story. Finish it and to damnation with the critics!
This could have been so much better if written in proper English. It reads like a poor translation from another tongue
There is nothing worse than dehumanizing cruelty in a marriage. And it's not fun to read either. just depressing.
