Thanks for the comment

I am glad you are enjoying the story. For others that are enjoying it one thing I would love is feedback on actual parts that you love, hate, or feel aren't quite real feeling. Yes I know that this is fantasy so technically that describes the whole thing but if I am building a culture from the ground up there are going to be things that just don't fit and I want to know. Oh, also dialogue, I want to know, if you are willing, what parts of the dialogue are you enjoying or hating.

Just as an example in The Avengers at one point Capt. America is tossing out orders and when he looks at the Hulk he says 'Hulk', gets growled at, 'smash'. He gets a grin and the Hulk gets to work. I die laughing everytime I see that. Oh, another example is when Loki calls the Hulk essentually a mindless cretin. He proceeds to beat Loki to bits and 'puny god' and walks away. Loki just lays there groaning. I died laughing at both of those. Those are examples of what I want to hear about.

It's good to go forward

Without realizing it, I found myself waiting for this next chapter to be released. I have really enjoyed the narrative and development of the characters. There have been a couple of places where my mind did a double take and had to improvise by substituting different words for a sentence to make sense to my mind's eye. They were more like typos than mistakes. I know, from personal experience, that sometimes our eyes/inner voice seems to add something that doesn't get written down and remains undetectable for correction. This is a minor distraction and rest of the story soon makes it disappear altogether. Thank you for sharing and continuing this tale, please share with us as your time and resources permit.

Where did Nora come from???

Did I "sleep-read" a part of the story?

Sorrel: The Squorrel that found Jim, took care of him and eventually slept with him.

Nasha: The Inu who is some sort of nanny/wet nurse/babysitter to the children.

Nora: ??? Who is she, what is she & where, when or why did she enter the picture?

At first I kept thinking you were talking about Lorna (the mother of the Kitsune kit Jim had saved). Still a possibility, I guess... *shrugs*.

It's not really important, for all I care Jim can have relations with 33 random females, but I just can't place the name Nora.

@ Jhyr

Actually Nora is Lorna. I hadn't realized I had fubar'ed her name till later when I went back and re-read the story. I have reviewed the story and made some major edits to it. I am going to be uploading the edited version probably next week. I have already uploaded edited versions for a different story and don't want to have twenty or more edited chapters from three stories waiting to be posted. I have done something similar and ran into problems with the submissions.

Wow @ your quick response

...is this prompt fan service or what?^^

Just came back to this chapter to tell everyone to disregard my previous post, since the very next chapter makes it fairly clear that Nora=Lorna...

Next time I'll just keep my big, fat mouth shut until I've finished reading the story.

Looking forward to the edited chapters & please keep up your engaging story-telling. :-)

@Jhyr

Since I don't have a life or job (for the most part) I don't have much else to do than to write and check for comments and to see how my stories are doing. As far as the updates I will have them posted as soon as I can. I think those who have read the originals will find the edited version much improved. Mind you I am not saying there won't be minor mistakes but I was sober this time or not recovering from being drunk so they make better sense.

I will keep writing though any new stories will be on the site in my bio. For the stories I currently have here I will add chapters/books till I complete them.

About naked children...

I had to laugh when I read your preamble about adults and children being naked. It is difficult to keep clothes on children, most of them HATE wearing clothes and they will strip off their clothes and run outside naked at the drop of a hat unless the clothes are designed so they can't reach the fasteners, which is not easy to do!

I don't know where the "blue-noses" got the idea that nudity is bad; I suspect it is a misinterpretation of their "bible" or whatever their religion uses as a "holy document" or "god's word", but they are wrong. Before Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge, they and god were naked in the garden and there was no shame, the "bible" says so...then they ate the fruit and the "knowledge" contained a trap which made them THINK it was naughty to be naked, so they made "garments" for themselves to cover up (supposedly out of fig leaves. FIG LEAVES? Have you ever felt of fig leaves? Talk about SCRATCHY!), anyway god asked Adam WHY he and Eve had covered up and was angry with them, not for having been naked but for covering up his perfect creation. The "blue-noses" should actually READ their "bible" and not just take the preacher's word for it, then get over themselves...naked is natural, and god does not hate it, contrary to popular opinion. NOWHERE does it say "If god meant for man to run around naked he wouldn't have given us clothes", and he didn't give us clothes, so he obviously did intend for us to run around naked, so there...
