Like the dew-fall, moisten me,
Gently bathe the arid spirit,
Envelop her in morning mist,
Whispered effervescence borne aloft.

Like the dew-fall, dampen me,
Wash clean the dust-filled eyes
So she can shed tears again,
In sorrow and joy – rejoice.

Like the dew-fall, baptize me,
Rinse free of willful decay,
Purify the arrogance, fear and doubt,
Fulfill the promise made at birth:

To come alive in your arms!

Nothing lifts my heart more than your words of encouragement, thank you again and again.♡

The most elegant, poetic and personal prayer.

Once again, I bow my head and remotely kiss your skillful hands, that infused words and lines with an image that had me pondering, reading over and over again, and hopefully not misinterpreting too badly.

Thanks for sharing.
