Click hereA simple thing, a kiss.
And yet inside the deep exchange
Lies a simple truth. Passion.
A Dance upon the sands
Sensuously lifting and moving her form
He watches mesmerized enchanted.
His eyes follow every movement
Her body undulates seemingly boneless
And his ragged breathe catches
Days may pass unendingly on
And yet the images flicker and remain
Never Forgotten, the Memories retained
A kiss and dance began
A Dance that floats into the air
And swirls within the mind
To linger always there.
To fill the last remaining day
With the sad but sweet refrain
It all began so simply
With a fireside conversation
and a flame lit from within
With this, you hit a lot of good trigger points for me. Obviously, I like stories with flame lit romance. And I'm sentimental for the lingering memories, dancing, and tension.
The line spacing is artistic or poetically done. It may not be needed, but why not have fun including it.
very nice n so true... a kiss like eyes expose what words and everything else cannot. Capturing the essence of our being n passion. Keep writing... i will keep reading, here and in forum. Thanks again for sharing yourself.
Sensual dances between lovers are seriously under estimated.
There is nothing more beautiful than a woman seducing a man through dance.
This poem captures the memories of such a moment on the sands. Very nice indeed.
