Your tears falling like rain, pillow stained with feelings of hope and love drenched in need.
Sitting here, watching, unable to make a difference from the outside.
Trying to be patient, waiting for my time, waiting.
Wrapped up in emotions, hurt, my touch only seems to bring you pain.
I imagine in my mind that the love that I offer reminds you of what you are missing, him.
Anger rises like a beast, ugly and needy, searching for the one that brought it forth,
the one that called it from the depths where it waited, watched.
Hours alone spent waiting, watching you wait for hours.
Your devotion and love painful to watch bring me pride laced with loss and a touch of hurt.
Wishing I was him, knowing that I am not, cannot be.
Waiting for 'my' tears, that show of depth and emotion so freely given to another, so deeply felt, needed.
Watching you turn away, drained, unable to feel me pressed against you,
heart beating rhythms of need and desire upon your back.
My tears falling like rain, pillow stained with feelings of hope and love drenched in need.
