Squeee! Which roughly translates as wow! An epic flurry of activity! I’m really looking forward to reading the next chapter.
Thanks again for all the work you’ve put into this.

Whilst I love this series and look forward to reading every new chapter I am deeply disappointed, actually outraged that you have chosen ANZAC day as the date marker for this chapter. Especially as you are Australian and should understand the significance of the day, it’s not just like you googled major world events that happen in April and picked it at random, we all learn about this from a young age and even if you are recently arrived in Australia the ANZAC story is often told.
As a current serving member of the Australian Defence Force and someone who has lost people I love fighting for this country I find it extremely disrespectful that you would choose to have the events of this chapter occur on that day. Even if I wasn’t either of those, as an Australian, I would be upset about you having such violent events happen on such a significant day that honors those who have served and died for our country.
Whilst I have really enjoy reading this series up to now this has put a real shadow over it all for me.
Nice! Looking forward to all of the missing details. Still a few more twists to go i am sure.
Two actually...
First and foremost, I hope you personal issues are resolved safely, quickly, and successfully. These are unprecedented times and we know everything is in flux everywhere. As you know I already have one author I truly appreciate from down under currently on a long term absence, wouldn’t be right for the fates have that happen twice. This site would truly feel your absence.
Second you have an incredible knack of filling in all the blanks from the last chapter and then immediately creating new questions and concerns for your readers to ponder on the same damn page! So many story threads closed. So many new issues to explore and resolve. Excellent writing.
I was pleased to see Justin’s relationship with Sophie was annulled. A shame the marriage didn’t last. I was a bit disappointed that the divorce wasn’t more graphic and medieval, but the end result was both permanent and effective so I won’t complain too loudly. ;)
Thank you again for sharing this journey with us.
