A muddled mess

Maybe this series made sense in your head, but it was just a jumbled nonsensical mess to me. What was a dream, what was real? If she wanted sex why not just tell him. Why has he suddendly embraced a completely fucked up life as being ok? Why wouldn'd he just run away or even just kill himself if this is all his future holds?
