For an author's first submission, this story is very well done. A more extensive introduction would have made it even better. The love scene is very well-written, although rather too short, and the ending practically cries out for a sequel. Perhaps one will be coming soon.

I don't agree that it needs to be a sequel. Sometimes all life gives us is a brief, shared connection between two strangers who will remain strangers afterward. Loved this story!
