I'm not even usually a fan of mindbreak, but you write it so well! Usually it breaks all suspension of disbelief for me when someone does a sudden switch between fighting and begging for more, but the way you described the internal feelings and the overwhelmingness of it all made it work, so fantastic job with that as well!
